With so much noise online—how do you stand out?

Two years ago these anxieties got stuck in my head on repeat, just like that Nickelback song you never asked to hear again.

I’d post a random Instagram story here, TikTok post there, and update my website—then wonder where the clients were.
Plagued by visions of me returning to corporate life, I knew I had one last chance to figure this out.

It was time to stop throwing spaghetti at the wall...
I needed a Gordon Ramsay level intervention.

I dove into truly mastering the fundamentals of SEO, sales, messaging, strategy and pairing these perfectly with design—everything finally came together.

To my horror I realised...I was cut out for this, the market wasn’t saturated and I had the skills to help so many but...

I was boooring

Bland. Dull. Snoozefest. Swipe left. Scroll past. Whatever you want to call it, that was me.

I was frustrated because I knew I wasn’t actually boring, but that’s what I was communicating. I was showing up as someone I thought I should be, not who I actually am.

Since then I’ve learned how to embrace the right aspects of myself instead of hide. My brand has been refined to stop projecting an image of what I think is “professional” and instead show up in a way that fits me and my clients.
